Bhadrachalam Set for Major Pilgrim Infra Boost under PRASHAD Scheme

Hyderabad: Under the Ministry of Tourism’s Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Heritage Augmentation Drive (PRASHAD) scheme, the sacred pilgrimage destination of Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana is being developed with enhanced infrastructure and modern pilgrim amenities to enrich the spiritual experience of devotees.
The government is constructing pilgrim amenities complex at Bhadrachalam, vrata mandapam for devotees, canteen block and public amenities.
It is also constructing a shed over Mithila stadium, pilgrim amenities complex with roofing and granite flooring at Parnasala in addition to parking, external development works and fencing and boat facilities for pilgrims.
The project will significantly enhance pilgrim facilities, improve accessibility, preserve the region's spiritual heritage, and promote religious tourism in Telangana.
Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PRASHAD scheme is preserving India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage while developing world-class infrastructure at major pilgrimage destinations across the country.
