DraftKings, FanDuel, and other leading online sports betting companies have collectively spent at least $72 million on the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, according to recent campaign finance data. Key industry donations were funneled through the super PAC “Win for America,” which supports two affiliate PACs: American Future (focused on Democrats) and the American Conservative Fund (focused on Republicans). The PAC is also investing heavily in Pennsylvania, where there has been a push to raise taxes on the online sports betting industry. DraftKings contributed at least $34 million, FanDuel $27 million, and bet365 and Fanatics $5.5 million each to the PAC in this election cycle. Driving the news: The industry has significantly increased lobbying efforts in Congress since the Supreme Court’s 2018 decision allowing states to legalize sports betting, with FanDuel spending $1.1 million and DraftKings $900,000 on federal lobbying last year.
