Cumbrian Michelin-star restaurant that offers ‘out of this world’ experience
['Amy Britton']
The Mail | News
The restaurant is owned by born-and-bred Cumbrians, Kevin and Nicola Tickle, who use their knowledge of the Lake District to create their dishes.
The Michelin Guide said: "Kevin and Nicola Tickle are born-and-bred Cumbrians, and it shows in their proudly run restaurant.
"While the menu changes with the seasons, expect dish names like ‘When Daisy Met Bramble’ or ‘Onion, Onion, Onion, Mint’ – their execution is imaginative but never gimmicky."
One reviewer on Tripadvisor said how the meal was an "out of this world experience" while others have praised the "simplicity" of the restaurant and say you "must try" Heft.
