The annual Crosthwaite Show returned on Saturday, July 18, giving the people of the Lyth Valley the chance to show off what is being grown in the region. "Staff from Crosthwaite School are tremendously supportive in contributing suitable topics and studies both for display and competition." The Children’s Cup for the best overall contribution to the Show went to Rosie Atkinson, who won two competitions and came second in another. The competition to design next year’s Show Schedule cover was won by Naomi Salehi, for the second time. "Huge thanks must go all the show committee who work so hard throughout the year to make it a success," the spokesperson added.
