Dedicated e-scooter and e-bike parking bays have been introduced under a new partnership with shared mobility provider Bolt. The new bays give airport staff and travellers a “fast, sustainable” travel option, and support the airport’s wider efforts to improve public transport access. Bolt launched its e-scooter and e-bike service in Liverpool earlier this year, expanding shared mobility options into South Liverpool for the first time. The new airport parking bay is located near the main employee entrance and within the free drop-off and pick-up public car park. This makes them well suited for airport staff working outside normal public transport hours—such as those starting shifts ahead of the airport’s 6am departures.
