25-year-old drug dealer admits selling cocaine to fund his own habit

Jack Bowes, of Tay Court, Barrow, admitted one offence of possession with intent to supply cocaine at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
“The defendant attempted to evade police and a foot chase occurred.
“Police also located 12 snap bags of cocaine weighing 3.99 grams each and a further 12 snap bags containing 1.74 grams.”
The court heard Bowes, who has six previous convictions for nine offences, had an ‘expectation of significant financial advantage’.
“The defendant had been selling directly to users to fund his own habit,” Ms Fawcett said.
