Abdellatif Loudiyi, Morocco’s Minister Delegate for the National Defense Administration, met with Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, the British Senior Military Advisor for the Middle East and North Africa, on Tuesday, according to Morocco’s Press Agency (MAP). The two officials reviewed defense cooperation, including the regular meetings of the joint military commission, exchanges of senior military officials, military training programs, and efforts to strengthen interoperability through joint exercises. The cooperation is based on several agreements, including the 1993 Military and Technical Cooperation Framework Agreement, the 2013 Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), the Mutual Support Agreement, and other technical arrangements.
