The move will allow owners to access the Tesla Supercharger network, expanding charging availability for Mitsubishi EV drivers. Under optimal conditions, the Eclipse Sportback EV can recharge from 10% to 80% battery capacity in approximately 35 minutes using Level 3 fast charging. For home charging and other charging locations, the Eclipse Sportback EV will also include a J1772 connector, supporting both Level 1 and Level 2 charging. The Eclipse Sportback EV will be followed in early 2027 by a rugged, off-road-oriented version of the Outlander SUV. Mitsubishi is expected to release additional details about the Eclipse Sportback EV, including specifications, pricing, and range figures, closer to its market launch.
