Arizona State University Health (ASU Health; Phoenix) has started construction on a new headquarters building in downtown Phoenix, according to asumag.com.
The 5-story, 175,000-square-foot tower will house ASU’s John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering and the School of Technology for Public Health.
The building will include exam rooms, simulation centers with mock operating rooms (ORs) and emergency department (ED) treatment rooms, augmented reality (AR) labs, community engagement spaces, and flexible health education environments.
CO Architects (Los Angeles) and DFDG Architects (Phoenix) are design partners on the project, and McCarthy Building Companies (Phoenix) is serving as general contractor.
