The victory moved the Knockouts to 24-8 to remain atop the Northern Division of the Cowboys Collegiate Wooden Bat League. After a walk, the former Van Vandall picked off the runner at first base to secure the win. The Knockouts have three remaining games, two at home, before the playoffs begin on Sunday. Tyler plays at Weatherford on Wednesday, followed by home games against Weatherford (7 p.m. Thursday) and Waco (7 p.m. Friday).
