So when Marion reached out to make a connection, Joyner was happy to plan a visit to Virginia’s Farmville. After an evening at the Weyanoke, Joyner and his partner joined the Farmville Pride board for lunch at Savour. Joyner hopes to inspire Farmville, North Carolina, residents to start their own Farmville Pride. His vision is to connect with Farmville, North Carolina’s strong arts council and local community to find young, energetic people and groups to lead the initiative.
