A Peterhead prisoner has been convicted over threats to a guard after he was refused porridge.
At Peterhead Sheriff Court on Tuesday, Sheriff Annella Cowan heard evidence from prison officers before finding the 46-year-old guilty of making the threat.
“I perceived that to be a threat to my safety outside of the establishment,” Mr Black told fiscal depute Gregor Forbes.
Put to him by Gill’s defence solicitor Natalie McCaig that he simply did not like Gill, Mr Black replied: “That’s not true.
Mr Black denied this and said: “It would be extremely unprofessional to have a back and forth with a prisoner.”
