A prominent building on Aberdeen’s King Street, caked in 190 years worth of muck and grime, could soon be cleaned for the very first time.
The Rathen-based firm purchased the two buildings, numbered 1-9 King Street, only seven years after Diva Property Investments had bought them at auction for £675,000.
How much difference will bringing back the sparkle to these historic King Street buildings make?
‘First clean in 200 years will allow King Street granite to sparkle once more’As well as plans to repair the roof, and remove plants growing from the parapets, 1-9 King Street could be in line for its first ever clean.
The busy traffic at the King Street corner has been blamed for the grime, along with water run-off and algae growth near downpipes.
