Rail Europe adds to European rail portfolio with Arenaways
['Timothy Siccion']
Travel Weekly
Rail Europe has added Italian regional carrier Arenaways to its rail portfolio, giving travellers and travel professionals easier access to Piedmont’s Slow Food heritage, medieval towns and lesser-known cultural landmarks.
The Arenaways route connects seven stops in Piedmont: Cuneo, Busca, Costigliole Saluzzo, Verzuolo, Manta, Saluzzo and Savigliano.
The region holds strong ties to the Slow Food movement, the Italy-founded initiative that promotes local food traditions, biodiversity and small-scale producers.
Rail Europe has operated as a global platform for European train booking for 90 years, providing technology solutions and customer care services to more than 25,000 partners across over 70 countries.
Just last month, Rail Europe expanded its Italian rail offering with the addition of Campania Express.
