One of the north’s best known legal figures is heading up a GAA ethics committee. It is understood High Court judge Adrian Colton was appointed as chair of the GAA Ethics and Integrity Committee earlier this year. “This office can confirm that Mr Justice Colton is a member of the GAA Ethics and Integrity Commission,” the statement said. Gaels against Genocide spokesman Michael Doherty said members of the group learned of the Allianz referral to the ethics committee through the media. “Since then we have asked the GAA to confirm if the Ethics and Integrity Committee have met and what was their recommendation,” he said.
