This struck a chord with me because I have labeled myself an interdisciplinary developmental scientist for most of my career.
That’s how I feel about the disciplines that study human behavior.
Understanding human behavior in its full complexity is overwhelming; studying one piece of it well is, in a real sense, the job.
So, is interdisciplinary science worth it?
As with my last column, I invite you to weigh in on the pros and cons of interdisciplinary training.
