Widespread rainfall was recorded in many districts, especially Chamba, Bilaspur and Mandi. July 30: Orange Alert for Bilaspur, Chamba and Kangra, with Yellow Alerts for the remaining districts. Bilaspur recorded 118 mm, while several areas in Mandi and Shimla also witnessed heavy rainfall. Most districts received light to moderate rainfall, while Shimla, Bilaspur, Chamba and Kangra experienced moderate to heavy showers. People have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain and follow local administration advisories.
