Cop Pleads Guilty to Four Counts of Sex With a MinorTwenty-nine-year-old Belize Police Constable Dexter Diego is behind bars awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The victim was 13 when the first offence happened and 14 when the other three occurred. Diego entered the guilty plea in the High Court before Justice Nigel Pilgrim on Monday. The first incident occurred between December 31, 2022, and February 1, 2023, while the minor was babysitting relatives. The remaining counts occurred between February and March 2023, with the final count occurring in March 2026 while Diego was in uniform.
