Tuscaloosa Academy added a field goal midway through the second quarter to extend the lead to 10–0, but the Yellowjackets found life before halftime. Mims connected with Archer for a pair of big fourth-down conversions, but a late interception stopped the Yellowjackets’ momentum. Tuscaloosa Academy capitalized with two more scores to pull away in the final quarter.
