Liverpool John Lennon Airport are forecasting another record-breaking summer.
An estimated 930,000 passengers will pass through the Speke terminal between the start of the summer holidays and the end of August – a 7% increase on last year.
Around 720,000 holidaymakers are believed to have made their way to LJLA in the previous summer which in itself marked an 8% mark-up on the previous 12 months.
Despite the UK’s recent good weather and continued concerns across the aviation industry over the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, Liverpool has continued to see passenger numbers hold up well.
Almost 2.7 million passengers have used the airport in the first six months of the year – a 2% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
