Later on July 26, following the shooting that occurred on Highway #165, La Ronge RCMP located a grey truck that matched the suspect vehicle’s description. Officers set up a tire deflation device on Highway #2 south of Weyakwin, which the grey truck ran over. Shortly after, the grey truck came to a stop. Officers seized the grey truck, which investigation determined was previously reported as stolen in Meadow Lake. Pinehouse RCMP continue to investigate the shooting, which includes working to locate the white truck.
