DAY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office investigation led to animal cruelty charges against a Day man after officers found one cat dead and removed five other animals. The investigation led to the Friday, July 24 arrest of Sirell D. Fiel, 41, of Day. Fiel is charged with two counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals and failure to provide proper sustenance. The Sheriff’s Office said he is accused of failing to provide proper sustenance to a cat found dead at the home and to a dog. Fiel was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Day Town Court.
