Warm, quiet weather continues through Wednesday with wildfire smoke making for a hazy sky around the region through the middle of the week. A wave of low pressure will be approaching the area late Thursday, bringing with it the likelihood of a good, soaking rain. At this time it appears most likely we’re not looking at rain until Thursday evening at the earliest. Heavier rain becomes more likely late Thursday night through at least Friday morning if not into Friday afternoon. There is the potential of heavy rain amounting to at least a few inches around parts of southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa.
