Columbus police say that a driver died after a crash Monday afternoon on 25th Street at Home Avenue. The police investigation discovered that the pickup was headed west on 25th Street toward Home Avenue, driven by a 16-year-old boy. The UTV was stopped at the traffic light and when the light turned green, the driver headed south into the intersection where the off-road vehicle was struck by the pickup. The driver of the off-road vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt. Police ask that anyone with any information on the crash contact the police department at 812-376-2600.
