Hospital officials said 39 injured pilgrims were brought to SDH Kangan, where doctors, paramedics and other healthcare workers were already prepared to receive the victims. In a post on X, the Lieutenant Governor said he spoke with the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal and health officials regarding the condition of the injured pilgrims. "I pray to Lord Shiva for the speedy recovery of the injured pilgrims," he said. Later in the day, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited SKIMS Soura to enquire about the condition of the injured pilgrims.
