“Surreal” is the word John Merry uses to describe his Emmy nomination for a prestigious accolade at a gala ceremony in Los Angeles on September 5. Mr Merry agreed that this Emmy nomination would help his career in the long term. He is a professional architect and a specialist in Film and Television Production Design working from the Belfast Film and Television Studios. Eventually I found my way into set design in film and television. In a recent production, he worked as a supervising Art Director under the direction of the Production Designer as part of a production design team.
