Multiplex has been appointed main contractor by Derwent London to deliver the developer’s flagship 50 Baker Street mixed-use scheme in Marylebone, with main construction work due to begin in 2027. Derwent London said the project would help address a shortage of premium office space in Westminster. Multiplex has supported the project over the past year under a pre-construction services agreement (PCSA), working with Derwent London, AHMM and the wider project team to develop the construction strategy. Main works will follow demolition and enabling works undertaken by McGee.
