The visit commenced with a high-level interaction titled “Interaction with Women Representatives and Women Activists” at the State Guest House in Agartala. The special session brought together women leaders, activists, and stakeholders to discuss measures for enhancing women’s participation in governance and social development. She will then participate in a programme on preventing stalking and launch the official website of the Tripura State Women’s Commission at a hotel in Agartala. The details of the visit were announced by Tripura Women’s Commission Chairperson Jharna Debbarma at a press conference on Tuesday. Officials said the visit aims to strengthen coordination between the NCW, the state government, and local institutions to advance women’s empowerment and gender justice in Tripura.
