The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred on a Maryland Transit Administration bus Tuesday morning in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood. Officers said they responded to the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue around 5:45 a.m. for a report of a cutting. Upon arrival, police said they located a man suffering from a severe stab wound. A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred aboard an MTA bus. Witnesses reported that a man boarded the bus, became involved in an altercation with the victim, then produced a knife and stabbed him.
