Officers were called to the scene at 2.49am following reports of a crash between two Scania HGVs near Stibbington. A 43-year-old man from Cleveland, was seriously injured and taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition. The other driver, a 50-year-old man from Great Barr, Birmingham, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving while over the drug-drive limit, and possession of cannabis.
