Notts Outlaws maintained a perfect start to their One-Day Cup campaign with a comfortable victory over Leicestershire as Lancashire posted a second win in Group A with a victory over Kent. Haseeb Hameed's side were following up comfortable wins against Somerset and Warwickshire in their opening two matches and a third was never in doubt against the Foxes at Trent Bridge. After restricting the visitors to 199, Notts were never out of second gear to win by five wickets with 54 balls remaining. In reply, the hosts were unruffled despite losing George Munsey to the second ball of the innings. Ben Martindale top-scored with 50 before James (38 not out) and Farhan Ahmed (19 not out) brought home the win.
