Nathan Lavery, of Howe Street, Barrow, was captured by a speed camera driving his Ford southbound on the A5087 at Ulverston in excess of the speed limit. The 38-year-old committed the offence on September 25 last year. He was found guilty in his absence of speeding – excess 30mph – manned equipment at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court on July 23. Magistrates fined Lavery £220 and endorsed his licence with three penalty points.
