Mr Hammond pleaded guilty through his lawyer to both speeding offences and was handed seven penalty points.
The court heard that police had struggled to reach Mr Hammond while delivering the tickets, sending letters to multiple addresses.
Mr Hammond also faced allegations of failing to identify himself as the driver for the offences.

In 2006, Mr Hammond survived a high-speed crash while filming Top Gear, after losing control of a jet-powered car at 320mph.
