Taylor Sheridan is branching out from his signature Western shows to take on his first movie in five years. Last year, Sheridan signed a massive deal with NBCUniversal, which means he's leaving Paramount behind after his current deal expires in 2028. The streaming service helped launch massive hits for Sheridan, including "Yellowstone," and its prequels, "1883" and "1923." This move also will allow Sheridan to step away from television writing and dive back into movies. Sheridan wrote "Sicario" and the Academy-Award-nominated "Hell or High Water."
