'I stayed at Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre as a child - now I plan to volunteer there when it reopens'

The centre, which sends children on holidays from Derby and Derbyshire, has to rely on donations to keep operating. She said: "While I was there, I met some of the trustees from the Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre and they were interested to hear I had stayed there. Anyone who enters can nominate the children's holiday centre as their chosen charity, among others.
