Ag Valley Co-op has acquired the former Scoular grain facility in Hershey, strengthening Ag Valley’s existing grain network in west-central Nebraska. Located just west of North Platte, the Hershey facility complements Ag Valley’s existing grain operations, particularly in North Platte, by adding receiving capacity and providing producers with another delivery location, Ag Valley said in the announcement. “We’re excited to welcome the Hershey facility to Ag Valley,” said Jeff Krejdl, CEO of Ag Valley Co-op. Ag Valley will begin integrating the Hershey facility into its grain operations and looks forward to serving both current and new customers from the location.
