Salisbury Fire Station welcomed the public on Saturday for its fifth annual open day, held at its Ashley Road site. The fire service held demonstrations throughout the day, included a fire engine simulator, fire house experience, CPR demonstrations and a throwline experience. The open day is designed as a free day out for all ages, where children were encouraged to take part in hands-on activities and talks that highlight how to stay safe and learn what it takes to become a firefighter.
