Two people face animal cruelty charges after police say they walked away from their pets in a condemned home

SENECA FALLS, N.Y. — Two people already facing animal cruelty charges are now charged with endangering a child and identity theft.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says Walters and Dyson also used a dead relative’s information to buy items and get credit.
Animal abuse registries in New YorkCounties around the state are creating animal abuse registries, in which those convicted of abusing an animal must register themselves.
Livingston and Ontario counties already have registries, and Monroe County proposed one this month.
