The rain will taper to more scattered showers midday into the afternoon with some cloudy and dry weather. A few passing showers will linger through the evening and overnight, but heavy rainfall is not expected. The center of low pressure will hover between central and upstate New York through Wednesday which will support some scattered showers for Rochester and the surrounding region. Showers decrease in coverage overnight with low temperatures nearing 64 degrees. Though some scattered showers are still expected on Thursday, weather will be trending drier through the second half of Thursday into the overnight hours.
