After forcing the Crusaders to turn the ball over on downs, the Vikings took possession deep inside Crusaders territory early in the first quarter. Charlie Anstett rambled 15 yards on a reverse and Jared Jackson’s 15-yard reception gave Riverside a first-and-goal at the Crusaders 6. The Vikings took over near midfield following another Holy Cross punt. Holy Cross then mounted its best drive, marching 80 yards in 14 plays, capped by Leland Wurdarski’s 3-yard scoring run with 7:08 left in the fourth quarter. Following a Crusaders fumble, Mitchell Muskey then ended the scoring with a six-yard touchdown run with 1:41 to play.
