It's unclear how long the West Midlands Police cordon will remain in place. The woman said it was a "quiet area", adding: "I just can't believe it. A number of nearby properties were temporarily evacuated following the gas leak but occupants have since been able to return. West Midlands Police said it will work with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to help establish the full circumstances."
