Epilepsy is a neurological condition that triggers seizures and, whilst incurable, treatment options are available to help manage the symptoms. "My daughter is under treatment for epilepsy," Gemma revealed during the podcast. Gemma also discussed how the keto diet was initially utilised as an epilepsy treatment.
