A man was badly hurt after coming off an electric scooter in Totton yesterday (Monday) evening. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance was dispatched, along with other paramedic teams and police, to the crash shortly before 6.30pm outside The Salmon Leap pub on Testwood Lane. The incident happened outside The Salmon Leap on Testwood Lane in Totton (picture: Google)Having suffered what were described by the Hampshire force as serious but not life-threatening injuries, the rider, a local man in his 30s, was taken by road ambulance to hospital. A doctor and two advanced paramedics from the helicopter travelled with him to continue providing care.
