Dick’s Sporting Goods plans to open a House of Sport store in San Jose, CA, replacing a nearby traditional store. Dick’s aims to relocate to the fire-scorched site of a former Home Depot in South San Jose, near the Westfield Oakridge mall, as part of a wide-ranging redevelopment of the property, according to papers filed with the San Jose Planning Department. No timeframe was given for when the Sunrise Plaza store would close and the House of Sport would open.
