Community members will have an opportunity to help save lives by donating blood during an upcoming blood drive at the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company.The blood drive will be held on Thursday, August 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sheppton-Oneida Fire Company, 900 Center Street, Sheppton. Donations will be collected in a climate-controlled coach to provide a comfortable experience for donors.To encourage participation, organizers will raffle off a $50 gift card to one lucky donor.Appointments are encouraged to help reduce wait times, although walk-in donors are welcome as space permits. Organizers encourage eligible donors to consider giving the gift of life by participating in the August 13 blood drive.
