Lakota West High School guard Joshua Tyson named his top 6 schools with the Cincinnati Bearcats being one of the teams listed. The Bearcats were named alongside local schools Xavier and Ohio State with Michigan State, Clemson, and Virginia Tech rounding out the rest. Tyson turned down offers from Penn State, Arizona State, West Virginia, and Dayton. This past season at Lakota West Tyson averaged 16.3 points per game, shooting 34% from three-point range. Lakota West made it all the way to the regional final against Pickerington Central before losing 55-35.
