Will it finally rain in Norfolk this week?
['Hallie Taylor']
Norwich Evening News | News
The county has endured a long spell of hot, dry weather, with temperatures climbing as high as 37C in Lingwood in June.
This week the heat is set to continue, with highs of around 33C on Wednesday, however, forecasters say some light rain should arrive on Thursday.
According to BBC Weather, from about 1pm on Thursday, parts of the county, including Norwich and Great Yarmouth, are expected to see drizzle and a gentle breeze through the afternoon and into the evening.
Along the coast, conditions should feel a little fresher, with Great Yarmouth forecast to reach around 24C.
The recent scorching weather has prompted an Anglian Water hosepipe ban across large areas of Norfolk, meaning any rainfall will be welcome.
