WEST FARGO, N.D. — Local public safety agencies will gather at Liberty Middle School on Wednesday, July 29, for a full-day joint training exercise designed to sharpen regional response capabilities during critical emergency situations. The West Fargo Police Department and West Fargo Fire Department, alongside neighboring emergency response partners, will conduct Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response (ASHER) training from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the school, located at 801 36th Avenue East. City officials stress that the large-scale exercise has been planned for several months as part of an ongoing regional preparedness initiative. To maintain safety and focus during the drills, the event is a closed training exercise and will not be open to members of the general public or media representatives. Standard emergency service across West Fargo will remain fully operational during the training.
