The leadership change comes as Visit West strengthens its role in tourism and economic regeneration, with the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority now joining Business West as co-owners of the organisation. Visit West, one of the UK’s first accredited LVEPs in 2023, operates as a not-for-profit public-private partnership. Andrew said: “I am honoured to serve as chair of Visit West and to champion the West of England’s vibrant tourism industry. Tourism is worth £2.5 billion to the local economy, supporting more than 45,000 jobs.”Kathryn Davis, chief executive of Visit West, welcomed his appointment.
