The Los Angeles Angels are reportedly listening to offers for shortstop Zach Neto ahead of the Aug. 3 trade deadline. As the Angels look to rebuild, Neto could be headed to a contender before the deadline. Two-time All-Star shortstop Trevor Story has been out since May, so the Red Sox could use an infield upgrade like Neto. Reuter suggested the Red Sox offer shortstop prospect Franklin Arias, right-handed pitching prospect Sadbiel Delzine and infield prospect Yoeilin Cespedes in exchange for Neto. The Red Sox promoted him to Triple-A Worcester on Friday, and he is projected to make his MLB debut in 2027.
